MilkMac

Created by Soren Kjaer in collaboration with furniture Holmris Hansen A/S, this Scandinavian design is an ode to the Mac. Familiar in design to Mac users, Milk comes in a white high gloss lacquer, the same color used on iMacs. The deceivingly simple shape of the desk has been designed to conceal all unsightly wires with its built-in cable drawers and cable exits. An electronic base means that the desk can be raised or lowered with the touch of a button, allowing freedom to sit or stand at your workspace. While the Milk desk can be lauded for its simplicity and clean lines, its landscape is dramatically altered by the addition of simultaneously practical and whimsical boxes. Four compartments on the left hand side of the desk become a tool holder, garbage bin or even fish tank. A perfect place to charge your iPod or hide your candy stash, box lids come in several colors and finishes. The Milk desk makes work more like play and you just might find yourself looking for excuses to get back to the office.
